Ingredients for Artichoke Rice Description

  • 1 cup basmati rice
  • 1 cup of boiled peas
  • 2 artichokes (I used canned)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Half a teaspoon of black pepper
  • 5 tablespoons of olive oil
  • about 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 2 cups of hot water
  • 1 pinch of parsley

  1. The rice is washed well in warm water and kept in water for 10 minutes.
  2. Olive oil is taken into the rice pot and the washed rice is added and the roasting begins.
  3. Then boiled peas, artichokes (I first divided the artichoke into 4 in the plus form, then chopped each part lengthwise) salt, pepper, butter are added and roasted a little more.
  4. Then 2 glasses of hot water are added and left to cook on low heat.
  5. The cooked and covered rice is waited for a little brewing and finely chopped parsley is added to the brewed rice, mixed and served.

Note: I used basmati, you can also use regular rice. For ordinary baldo rice, 1.5 glasses of water will be sufficient.
