Stalker 2, one of the most anticipated games of the year, was once again shaken by an important cyber attack. According to the statement of GSC Game World, Russian hackers managed to access the test versions of Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Hackers started leaking these versions over the internet.

Continuing the development process despite the war in Ukraine, the studio said in a statement that a cluster of Russian hackers attacked the studio for about a year and a half. This cluster eventually managed to get the developer-specific test version of the game by accessing the studio’s unknown files.

GSC Game World cautions all players in this candid statement. Addressing those who want to play and experience the final version of the game with pleasure, the studio asks not to look at or share these views. Although there is a test version of the leaked game, it is stated that there may be spoilers about the story.

Let’s give our warning here.
