Street Fighter 6 made its debut as of yesterday, but what to achieve. The game almost shattered concurrent player records in the fighting games category on Steam.
Street Fighter 6 reached 65313 concurrent players on Steam in the first 24 hours. One of the most valuable aspects of this was that the number of players did not decrease rapidly after touching this “peak” point. At the time of writing these lines, that is around 10 o’clock, the number of simultaneous players in the game was 59977.
For comparison, the closest name to Street Fighter 6 was Mortal Kombat 11 and the highest player count was 35147.

It is followed by Tekken 7 with 18966 players, Mortal Kombat X with 15743 players and Street Fighter V with 14783 players. In other words, Capcom has almost doubled the previous game of the Street Fighter series.
