Ella Irwin has become the second head of security to resign since Elon Musk bought Twitter, according to The Hindu Business Line.
It is stated that the reason for Irwin’s resignation, who took office in June last year, is not clear now.
The first Chief of Security, Yoel Roth, began to criticize Twitter heavily after his resignation.
Irwin was responsible for monitoring harassment, hate speech and violent policies on Twitter, with the rules loosened after Elon Musk bought the company.
Irwin’s heavy involvement in user account suspensions and frequent replies to blocked users drove advertisers off the platform, who felt that Twitter was vulnerable to hateful posts.
Musk announced in March that Twitter ad revenue had dropped 50 percent since October.
